    What fresh hell is this!

I'm just going to leave this unholy result of an AR15, No4 and L1A1 threesome here....

As Dr Frankenstein said "it lives"

Just observe quietly and wonder Why??

    Found on the web....

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... I answered an ad locally for a .303 like this some four or five years back. It was close enough to take a day trip to pick it up. Had all these same sort of additions, bipod, scope and PH mounts...no FN flash eliminator. I asked him if it separated brass and how headspace was. How did it shoot...everything was above standard to his perception. Well, that was the last .303 I bought. These new assembled monstrosities are just an assembly of parts and don't match up to original spec factory rifles. A complete waste of time. Stick to the originals.

This and mosins... Spend $1000 on a $400 rifle, to end up with a rifle that's worth $300 and still shoots just as well as it would have if you left it alone as a $400 rifle.

Tacti-cool is what we call them. I've seen bolts, levers even 10-22's done up this way. It usually belongs to some 20-30 something year old who plays way too many shoot 'em up video games

Looks like it's been created for a new mad Max film, it's the perfect example of just because you can, dosen't mean you should...

If you decided to 'create' something like this, why on earth wouldn't you use something like a Remmy 700 action ..

Maybe one day it will see the error of its ways and identify as a No4 again.....

I'm sure Mr. Lee and Mr. Enfield would have eventually evolved to develop this rifle....ok.....probably not....
