    10 pocket ammo belt

I believe this to be a GI 10 pocket ammo carrier of the Korean era, in NOS/unissued condition. I am unable to read the factory printing on the inside except I think the date is 1960. I paid $20 at the local flea market.
I am hoping one of the experts might be able to decipher the text of the printing from experience with clearer examples.
    Thanks for looking. Dave

    M1 rifle and M1918 BAR magazine/cartridge belts

The BAR pockets for the magazines are much larger

There was some use in Viet Nam with M16icon magazines as I have a combat photo

It takes some work to decipher the markings sometimes, you may have to turn it this way and that...all angles until you can put it together. I'd think earlier than 1960 though, maybe 1950...they made so many.

    Thanks Guys

I think you have it bracketed. It's not a M1923 style belt --- no straps and snaps for the stripper clips. Buckle looks like brass rather than pot metal. And the date stamp is starting to look more like 195_ as stated above.
