    Canadian Sten Slings

I have a Canadianicon manufactured adjustable Sten sling. Unlike Britishicon slings the Canadian sling had a D ring in place of the oval shaped ring. I noticed that when I tried to install the sling on my replica Sten, the adjustment buckle would not fit through the D ring. While I was able to install the sling in its shortest length, I am not able to lengthen it.

Am I puzzled. Any hints or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.
