    Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope yours is going smoother than ours. The furnace crapped out, the TV crapped out, both this morning. The turkey wound up on the floor as the bag broke putting it in.

I can at least laugh about it now. The heaters are fine, the bedroom TV has been moved out, we had a spare turkey bag.

Merry Christmas!!! We were all se to travel the eleven hours to Tennesse to be with my 93-year-old mother when n Tuesday, my lovely wife came down with a raging cold. We aren't going to exposes my mom to that! So, we cancelled, but my wife was sick all the way to today, so we coudn't decorate the house or put up the tree. Then last night I woke up with chills from a fever. I got whatever my wife had - full blown. After we exchanged gifties I spent most of the day trying to sleep it off. It has been a strange Christmas but we are madly in love and any time together is good time together. And as mentioned, we weren't under fire.

My youngest boy got something like that so he and his wife...and five kids...are all sequestered. I delivered my Santa load and after a short outside visit with the youngsters, departed in a Silverado sled... They did festivities incommunicado this year. My wife works in elder care so I can't be bringin' it home to her.

Merry Xmas to you Aragorn243 & family a Happy New Years as well.

One of our cars gave us a fritz out 25th with an engine warning light cannot trace the fault yet idles and drives but not a good idea with that light the Commodore SV6 3.6L eco-tec engines are known to hand grenade.
My sons got a code reader so he's back next Thursday so we will see what it says.

Furnace back in operation today. Just needed an open store to get a new filter and about an hours work to replace it and purge the system. Could have been worse.

And here I thought I was the only one with Mr. Murphy as an unwelcomed house guest.

Code diagnostic reader said One 02 sensor has fritzed out so replacing both as soon as possible next week, an easy job apparently! but I don't have car ramps plus I'm not partial to squirming under a low car.
