    New read Lidnt Cafe Seige

Just rolled in from what I have gathered is a very exciting book written by the man who took out Man Monis and Officer "A"'s journey through hell and back.
His identity cannot be disclosed but from what I have read on the review he went eye to eye contact with Man Monis the latter fired 2 rounds from his shotgun before Officer "A" took him out.

Reviews on the book have said he Officer "A" unloaded 17 rounds either into or at Man Monis to which I also read the ethics police were looking into/looked at!
Sad to say 2 innocent ppl lost their lives one was executed by Man Monis and the other a pregnant woman sadly hit by shrapnel lost her life.
But he picked his building well an ex bank with bullet proof glass and across the road from Channel 7 studios.

I'll give my impressions after reading it.
I have stuff on Bryant that never made it out, from what's contained there he was a Patsy with over 55 pages of his testimony missing, with the shooter in the cafe being placed in the top 1% of world combat shooters as judged by serving SASR and TRG personnel.

I have just about finished it and highly recommend it a real no frills book that says it as it is from his GD - General duties through to the selection for the TOU - Tactical Operations Group been shot at, blown up, belted.
I'm not going to go into the siege I'll leave that to who ever gets a a copy, but the aftermath of that and what he told after going to the funny farm to get ironed out (PTSD) he realised just how much he was carrying around some of the descriptions of what they faced, saw & happened to them was truly appalling.
He was an operator for a considerable time, involved in the hunt for some of Australiaicon's worst of the worst, hunting down Malcolm Nadan who shot and seriously wounded one of "A"'s team members in the neck.

Its a real eye opener having to see how they are 24/7/365 but have to switch off and be a family person in the end after being blown up things started to go a bit south.
I recommend the book for those who are interested in what the men in black do and some of their raids good and bad.

I'll finish it tonight only been at it 4 hours will be recommending it to my Federal Police detective nephew.
