    Jack Schwartz partsforantiqueguns.com

Has anyone ordered or received parts from Jack Schwartz of partsforantiqueguns.com recently? Is he still in business?

6/9/2022 - I ordered a winchester 97 6 row heat shield, magazine plug, and stock swivel. Cost me $290, charged immediately.

6/10/2022 I got a notification from Jack Schwartz of the 16 week lead time, which was published on his site.

9/27/2022 I asked for an update. I got a quick response saying he was 3-4 weeks behind on shipping my parts. This is the last I have heard from Jack Schwartz.

11/24/2022 I asked again for an update (~8 weeks after he said it would take 3-4 weeks). No response.

I sent emails again on 12/8 and 12/18, and just sent my last one today. In 2 weeks I'll begin a fraud claim with my credit card company, unless I hear from him otherwise.

I hope he is OK. Madcap got his a couple weeks after I ordered mine. In his thread he even got to return it, get a refund, and cancel his order of another one, so I wonder if something may have happened to him.

I haven't dealt with him but It's possible with all this COVID going around and just health problems in general, especially if he is an older gentleman. I hope he is okay and I hope you find something out soon. Seems like if something did happen like he fell ill or something, that he would have someone communicating on his behalf to let his customers know what's going on

Oh wow, what are you going to do? Is there any way you can get your money back from your credit card company? $290 is quite the chunk of change

Unfortunately I just searched and found that the gentleman has indeed passed away. The time frame of when he died on October 21st fits with your not getting a response during that time. His obituary mentions he was an antique gun parts dealer so I would imagine this has to be the same gentleman.Sorry for the bad news

That's sad. He had a good product line as well, hard to say if anything more will transpire there.
