    More Builds

Couple of more models plus other goodies I needed to continue with Germanicon WWII armour the Jagdtiger is next after the King Tiger then I'll do the Sturmtiger.

I have a fascination with the Tigers yes they had flaws were handled ineptly at times according to Wilbeck who wrote Sledgehammers about the Tigers.
But for the era when they first come out nothing on the battle field the allies had unless using bombers or heavy artillery could really stop them.
The Takom Kit is a new one for me, as I normally buy Tamiya but on asking the store they said Takom make their models more detailed so excited on that one.

I informed my wife that my last model will probably be the Takom 1/16 scale Panther F which has 2300 parts as I saw on the box today at the store.
Wont be a cheap kit but will be able to put some serious detailing into it.

When you get it home do you plan to count all the bits to make sure that it's all there?

I'll give you 10 out of 10 for enthusiasm, Cinders.

I looked at the Takom kit instructions OMG pictures and arrows and numbers at least Tamiya give you a bit of verbal directions not just arrows anyway the 1/16 Panther is a way off yet the "Thor" mortar I've yet to build is a 2 kg plastic model and that is sitting there as well.
Paint day tomorrow for the Jagdpanther late model it is Dec '44 where they went from the base yellow to a green base colour with the red brown and dark yellow on the top then it all begins weathering and chipping

I have a spare scale 88mm case from what I brought for my King Tiger build so will glue one half in the breech as you can open the back hatch and look in just a nice touch no interior detail save for sights, periscopes gun breach commanders seat and dividing panels.
The Jagdepanther had the same long barreled 88mm as the King Tiger a devastating weapon, where as the Jagdtiger has the 12.8cm main gun
