    1903 serial # look up.

    I have a 1903 with serial # 1513708 it has the lyman sights and I been been told it may be a National Match. Can some one please check this number out. Much appreiciated.

    Your serial number is not listed in SRS data. No NM rifles in that range. How about some pictures.

    Is that a replacement bolt from a parade rifle (chromed) or the original thats highly polished?

    Polished bolt

    I believe that is how it came. I inherited this rifle from my Uncle in 1962 and he got it around early 1950'S. It dates 1938-39 production.

    Super cool gun. It's not often you see the target style rifle with full military stock.

    What does it have for a buttplate?

    This gun looks MUCH like a National Match Special from the mid-1920s.

    Compare to mine.
