Got these three the other day whilst I have ones in better condition in my shotgun box collection to get them 3 at once was pretty good I thought.
Not super rare but in reasonably good condition, the Rex is a little tatty its still not a common brand to find.
Anyway it adds to the cartridge collection just got to find space to put them!

Grand Prix, both Aussie and NZ loaded, are common here but I have never seen the Rex before. Nice!

Pic of my other Rex it is in a little better nik nice to have a couple.

Here is a pretty rare 12 Ga Remington packet see who can pick why it is so rare, the seller told me they were pre WWI.
This one and its mate I got at the same time about 6 years ago were not cheap per packet, they are both wrapped in a clear shrinkwrap for obvious reasons.

Interesting seeing boxes from somewhere else. It's a big collectors item here. I don't actively collect but have a few old boxes I've picked up over the years. Winchester, Remington pretty much dominated shotshells where I grew up. Federal enters the fray with rifle cartridges. Nowadays, I see all sorts of foreign companies on the racks as well. PPU and Fiocchi being common.

As far as the Remington UMC packet goes it's all in the fine print down the bottom! if you look at where they were produced they were not made in the United States, they were produced in Brimsdown, England pre WWI.
That's why these are pretty rare and special as you don't often see them if any today.

I do not have much in shotgun shells nor boxes which are quite intersting, there are collectors at gun shows that only collect older shotgun boxes.

Long time go my friend at Gun Digest gave me these shotgun shell in my photo. There were manufactured by Ballistic Research Industries in Calif, later bought out by Winchester,

I used in the mid 70's Basherie & Pelagri shotgun slugs before I brought my 444 Marlin they were hour glass shaped hollow with angled vanes on the inside so as the slug went through the air it forced rotation onto the slug.
The added bonus was they were like a bloody great 1 oz hollow point devastating on pigs, my SKB semi auto was just to long for the Scrub/Bull Rushes I hunted for them in hence the purchase of the 444.
