    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.     Well...there are probably a half dozen officers behind the camera and the photog and who knows who else... Someone told him to go lie down in that mudhole and get everything good and covered. Now, stand up and fire from the hip! Now look at the work to do, he started as a poster boy and ended up a sh*thouse rat.

    You can even see the smoke at the muzzle. You see the empty at his near elbow...just above and left. Smoke at the breech too...
