    No8 Barrel Dimensions??

Hi Gents, is anyone able to advise me what the barrel dimensions are for the No8 rifle? I'm interested in the diameter at the muzzle, whether it's tapered and if so by how much, and the length from the front of the receiver to the muzzle?
Thanks in advance and all the best,
    Tom

Couls only get at the to 4 inches at the muzzle end but appears to be .7859" in outer diameter with no taper in that distance.

Apologies for the late reply, the 'day or so' got scuppered by me being clobbered by Covid 19 in the meantime!

    Dia at muzzle - 0.785"

Dia at the front of the fore end wood (7 3/8" back from the muzzle) - 0.8150" - so it does taper.

Length of barrel (without taking the fore end off, so from muzzle to the rear of 'RING, retaining, rear hand guard', i.e. the front of the receiver) is as near as dammit 21"

    Hope this helps.

    David
