No.4 T Scope Bracket and Pads Identification

Recently got these parts and was wondering about the origins of them. From what I can learn the pads might be original or maybe Fultons made due to the radiused corners and worn Park looking finish. The bracket probably isnt original but not the Asian version as the side of bracket is flat not two distinct facets. Was wondering if it could be one of Mister Payne's or from somewhere else. Any feedback appreciated.

Can't be sure from dark and blurred photos as far as the pads are concerned, but the bracket is a repro 100%. Pads had an emery paper massage recently by the look of it and machining marks are questionable though overall shape and config. not bad. No staking marks or signs of solder...

Sorry for lousy pics. Will post better of the pads. Wondered if bracket was a Roger Payneicon produced one? Definitely different from Taiwanese version.

The pads look half decent to be fair, but that bracket is a Chinese version 100%.

Agreed, they look fine from a practical point of view; I doubt they are originals however. On the original pads the spigot was configured slightly differently IIRC.

On balance, difficult to say, other than the end of the spigot they do look right, but the finish? They have a sort of aged look, but cold blue and emery paper etc. will make a fair simulation.

Thanks for the comments. I was leaning towards the pads being modern production from the UKicon. Maybe Fultons or I think an outfit called DS Solutions made some as well, at least I think that is the name of the firm.

Sorry I am a little late entering the fray. I got back from nine days on the Somme about an hour ago. Both the bracket & pads are reproductions, although I must say the pads look quite good. The bracket could be functionally good too; it's sometimes difficult to say for sure until you come to fit them. The bracket is not one of mine, nor is it one of the typical 'Pacific Rim' efforts, which all seem to come with the obligatory 'ledge' running down the rear of the body just above & in front of the rear thumb screw. At least, all those that I have seen to date. Someone has also numbered the clamps on the wrong side & stamped the front face of the bracket with the numbers. I don't profess to know much about the repro brackets other than mine but could it be an Accumounts version, perhaps?

    Hope this helps a little.

I noticed the numbers were on the wrong side. I didn't think the bracket was original just doesn't look like the Asian version with the two distinct facets on the side. Thank you for the reply.
