    Cai no4 mk2

I am looking at a No.4 Mk2 . It is not marked the same as most of the other mk2's I have seen. The serial no. is ZQ026 and is dot engraved the same as the CAI import mark on the side wall. Bolt not numbered , mag not numbered and 1956 barrel with Britishicon Proofs left side of knox. F55 forend, F54 butt with steel butt plate, P58 trigger guard,F54 bolt body with Savage cocking piece. And the finish is more matte than suncorite. So what I am asking is did CAI put together some parts rifles.
    Cheers Dave

It sounds like someone assembled it from bits, but who it was .........................
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
