A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Nice pieces. I don't have any Australianicon rear sights remaining but I'm sure someone here does...probably would have to be sourced here in Canadaicon as I don't think you could get it across the border. I also can ask locally, might be able to find one here, if you wished?

That's a stunning collection of Fals I've given up on a C1A1, I really wanted to add one to my Inch pattern collection, but its just impossible in the UK now.

I've a live Enfield 1962 and a Lithgow 1964, plus numerous deactivated examples, but that's were it stops unfortunately.

I assume as you're in Canadaicon, you're not allowed to shoot them anymore?

Correct. It is not so much that you are not permitted to discharge them, it is rather that you cannot get a permit to legally transport them to a range for lawful discharge. There is nothing preventing you from discharging on your own property assuming that you have the land (and back-stop) to safely launch that calibre....

I'm sorry to hear that, at least you have them and such a fine collection is a credit to you. Our lord's and masters make our hobby bloody difficult don't they!

I might be able to help you with the Aussie rear sight if you need one.

You have them in the wrong order
The earliest known inch pattern rifle part produced was Enfield 1957. The first inch pattern rifles were in Englandicon
You have them in the correct order for the adoption of metric rifles but you don’t have metric rifles
