    Silent Auction PASGT Helmet

This one is a new one for me. STEMECO M-1 1987 dated PASGT helmet. No bid as of yet, minimum of $25 which I will probably put in tomorrow. I don't need it but I could use it for a Woodland Pattern helmet as mine is set up for Desert Storm.

I'm curious as to see how high it will go. These things can drag out for weeks. They allow 5 days for a new bid to be placed and as long as that happens, it will continue. I watched a CASE Bowie knife that retails for about $250 go for over $400 at one of these. I just watched and laughed.

Day two, I still have the bid at $25. Survived day 2. I expect the Saturday and Monday are the days I need to be concerned. Saturday because everyone has off, Monday because people check out what came in over the weekend.

Day three, still have the bid. I can’t check it tomorrow. HVe to wait until Monday. I took pics already, nothing exciting, just a standard PSAGT with liner but no cover. Black with sand.

Survived the weekend, I think it is two more days if no one else bids.

LOL, I go in there with dread every afternoon knowing that this starts all over if anyone else puts a bid on it. I've been in these things before for so long I eventually forgot I was bidding on something. I have only ever won one other that I can remember and that was a WWII cavalry hat that resembles the modern drill sergeants hat.

Day 5, still good. I think if I survive tomorrow, I can pick it up Thursday. Could be wrong on that. I don't like this style of auction.
