A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hey Charlie, Bruce is spot on. This ol' gal was rode hard and put up wet, but she is righteous. Produced 10-43 and an undated barrel 1729xxx. hth.

    David,
I wish the one I'm looking at......looked like that one!
I always remember seeing yours......that makes it hard to compete against.
The one I'm picking up has been upgraded. To be honest...I haven't even seen it. Good friend out in Washington State offered it up to me. He's never done me wrong.......tells it like it is. Great thing about him is he'll let me make payments. Which comes in handy right now with 2 kids in college and still feeding my daughters show horses! Seems like every home builder/developer in mid Michigan owes me right now, but I keep paying out labor and for materials.

Same guy I got these from...

My Inland 5,061,238 with the .U. rear sight and S'G' 1,823,135

    Happy Easter

Charlie, I have got to learn how to re-do stocks like you do.... Don't take this the wrong way, but you sure know how to handle your wood! LOL

And I thought you said you didn't have any S'G' stocks!

No extra S'G' stocks right now. But do have a few SG's.

Happy Easter to you too. Was just kidding about the S'G' stock(even though I do need one). I remember you mentioned last week that you didn't have any right now. My El-Salvador return CMPicon barreled receiver from 3 years ago can wait a little longer...but is becoming a little impatient.

    cheers,
    Randy
