    Irwin Pedersen Question

Almost passed this one up at second hand store but the price was right. Maybe someone can tell me a little about it.
    Receiver - Irwin Pedersen 176XXXX
    Trigger Assembly - IP
    Safety - IP-W
    Mag Catch IP-W
    Mag UN
    Barrel - Rock-OLA, 2-43, P
Pistol Grip has a circle P cartouche
Butt stock sling well has IR-IP and flaming bomb and IP in a square. Looks like it has been sanded and shellaked so they're a little dull.
Barrel is a little frosty but after an hour of cleaning it looked pretty good. I was looking for a shooter but probably not?

Sounds good so far. How about some pictures and a complete breakdown of parts?

Trouble with Pics at the moment

Couldn't get the trigger bolt out easily while cleaning.
    Not sure about the handguard.
    Front sight stamped PN

I'm a novice so any help is appreciated.

Sounds like a good find, especially if you were just looking for a shooter and ended up with that find. We look forward to more, including pictures.

This link should do the trick for pics.

Looks like some heavy sanding around the grip in the one pic, but I think you should keep it well oiled, and not change anything.
