    Getting some loads together..

for 7mmMag, using win cases, Hornady 162gr SST, & Reloader 19.
According to Alliant's handbook, reduce given load (64grs) of R-19 gives initial load of
    57.4 grs, I;ll increase by 2.1 to 59.7 & 61.8, if needed I'll try 63.

Any comments? Looking for base load for hunting and LR target, by using 168 or 170-series bullets.

Also, was removing flash hole burr, it appears that these Win cases are ballon-head, True or false??

    Thanks.

Never tried RL-19, but 64 grains of RL-22 with the 162 Amax bullet did outstanding at 1000 yards in My Remington Sendero.

I doubt very much that Winchester would ever use a balloon head case for any high pressure cartridge like the 7 mm magnum. The last balloon head cases that I think Winchester used were for the .45 long Colt back in the 1930's or 1940's or for the 45-70 same time frame maybe.
