    1903a4 7-43 receiver / barrel code photos

I picked this A4 up about a week ago and got around to taking it apart today. Seems to be original except for the scope, I put that on. It came with a new M73b1 and I did not mount it. Believe it or not the bolt is actually blued, just well worn. I tried to capture the steel codes, all inspector stamps etc. I am going to post the same for a 1-43 barreled A4, be interesting to see the differences in machining and inspections. Stay tuned..... If you would like to see anything else specific let me know. This ol girl looks to have passed through Benecia at one time but must have talked her way out of a rebuild!! Thanks.

Here you go. Almost all 1903a4's will say 1903a3, a few had the 3 crossed out and struck with a 4 during rebuild. These are not overly common. If you notice the SN and Model desifnation are struck off to the side so the SN can be read with a scope mount.
