    M1A1 jump case?

Try this one more time. I have a chance to get a jump case marked Atlas Awning 1943 it is green in color. I have one that is brown missing the leg strap marked the same. How can one tell a repro from the real thing? Thanks

    Tom,
Post some photos of the case if you can if you are really interested in it, but authentic cases are few and far between on the market today. Reproductions have been out for so long now that many look (and even smell) old enough to appear authentic. Detail photos of the zipper, leather reinforcements, stitching, fabric, etc, can help but like Jimb16 said it sometimes takes a hands on experience to tell.
