USMC69, Im no expert. the carbine's sr# 491753 is close to 1889, you have some other part,s that are from other era's. carbines are worth quite a bit more then the rifle's. Check out [trapdoor.com] to help get an idea, I really like the old carbines. Good luck. lboos.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. You might want to tell us how much the seller wants for the guns. I don't think anyone here is going to try buying them out from under you. At least with an known asking price we could let you know whether or not the deal is worth it.

Not sure what he is ging to ask for the pair. I am not sure I want them. I like the carbine, but outside hanging it on the wall I don't know what I would do with it.
