    Un-quality Hardware

Folks, does anyone know how many Un-Quality carbines were manufactured? I am in the process of selling mine and any information about them would be appreciated.

Also my un-quality carbine is a non-import mix master so does 1500 sound about right for a shooter grade with a nice shiny bore?

    Thank you for your help.

Actually, all the CMPicon Un-Quality carbines go to the auction block. There is one for auction right now.

M-1 Carbine Service Grd QH SN- 4439475 Auction

They always go for quite a bit more than $500.

it is now up to $2968.00 , I'm glad I got mine for $600, of course I thought I was buying an Underwood and the dealer thought he was selling an underwood. The Barrel said Underwood and under the left side of the rear adiustable sight there was a "un" so we both assumed it was an Underwood. When I got it home I posted on Joustericon and someone said it was the wrong serial number for an underwood, that it was a Quality hardware number. I looked under the right side of the rear sight and there was a "ty". Now I may be Polish but I do know that Underwood does not start with un and in ty. I went back to the dealer the next day to correct the paper work and we checked the other 3 Underwoods he had and sure enough one other one was an Un-Quality, Un fortunately I didnt get that one. Now every time I look at an Underwood I'm looking for that ty on the right side.

    KCI Expo Show

Today's gun show at KCI Airport ended with one very happy seller of one Underwood Carbine that could at best be described as "poor".

In summary it had all the enhancements performed that one expects but the poor owner ( or the previous guy who had kept in stored in the bottom of a barrel of rusty bolts and bent nails) forgot about oil.

The new owner handed over nine new $100 bills to the dealer and was so excited he forgot the 1000 rounds of carbine ammo he had brought earlier. He came back a few minutes later.

    The feeding frenzy continues.....

Where was that guy while I was walking around with my Standard Products with a "for sale" flag coming out of the barrel this weekend in KC?
Any idea what he paid for his ammo? I only saw a couple of bandoleers for $90 each and one box of 50 for $25. I
