03 front band

Will the front barrel band for an 03 (the one with the bayonet lug and stacking swivel) fit on an 03A3? I'm setting up a rifle to use in springfield rifle matches and would prefer to use a milled 03 band on my 03A3.

Yes they are interchangeable.

Mike, They will work, BUT you will have to modify the A3 handguard. The A3 hand guard is too long for the milled collar. You'll have to shorten the A3 hand guard about an 1/8th to 1/4 inch at the front.

the A3 uses a 2 peice band and lug, its best if you be patiant and use the right parts for the right rifle.
