    Remington Rand Parts

Anybody out there know a source for U.S.iconG.I. parts for a 1944 Remington Rand. I need a grip safety and an original hammer to put mine back to original issue.
I recently purchased one and someone had installed a drop-in beavertail safety and bobbed the hammer.
I have already ordered original grips(late model) from Simpson.
Any Rands I have seen had a checkered hammer but my bobbed hammer is serrated like an Ithaca.
This could be just a case of an armourer installing any parts that worked.
Obviously they weren't concerned with whether parts were original or not, just get it shooting again.

    Thanks, Mike
