Can some other old timer recommend a gadget that would help me load a double stack 9mm magazine? TIA

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I use a HKS magazine speedloader and absolutly love it. I load during pistol compeition and its fast and reliable. I bought mine at a gun store, but they are avalible on line too.

I beleive it's called the LuLa made by Butler Creek and I see HKS has a similar device. Both Springfield Armory Inc and Taurus have a simple device to use. I personally use the old standby my thumb. Yes I sometimes get nicks and I bleed but I keep bandaids in my range bag I'm still alive
