    Correct Grades

Correct grades sold out for good this time? Are there any available at CMPicon North or South stores?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. You may want to call the stores to verify. I bought one a couple of months ago and it was as new and the stock only had a couple of flea bites. I got an HRA with an LMR barrel. I went to the North store for a carbine and came home with a carbine and a garand.

I was in the south store last Friday and and all the Garands were rack grade only. I looked at a lot of them and didn't see anything special at all. Who knows about next week or later??

There could only be a finite supply of these beauties. The well had to run dry sometime. They were/are the buy of a lifetime.

the correct grade i got was a grick return hra. as near as i could tell, it was never issued, just lent to the gricks not used and returned. it had a cleaning kit with grick writing in the butt.
don't know if i'll sell it someday and retire on the proceeds but i am happy with it.

Here's a shot of the 5.4 Springfield that was luck of the draw and sent to my door step. This one came out of the first release, however from what I understand, most were in excellent condition and appear to have never been issued. This one was 850.00 plus shipping. Have a 4.2 rack grade for shooting. This one survived 50 years in this condition and will stay as is.
