    M44 Front Sight

I want to remove the issue sight and replace it with the Lyman 17. If you look from the chamber toward the front sight, does it drift out from left to right? Thank you

I have replaced the 44US post sight with a L. 17. The base on the 17 was oversized, so I removed metal from the sight base, rather than ruin the rifles dovetail. Than I stored the post sight in a hole I drilled under the buttplate.
