    Thanks to forum

A big thanks from a new guy here who's just picked up his first SMLE Mk III* (Lithgowicon).

I got one of the JJCO imported rifles this past weekend in what looks to be new condition at a gun show for $200 with a bayonet, which seemed like a pretty good deal to me at the time, but I was dismayed when I took it to the range and it really seemed to be stretching the cases. Much more so than what I've seen from the front locking modern bolt action rimless center fire rifles I've been used to shooting.

All I can say is thank God for this forum and the many articles here, especially the "Headspace 101" article which has me breathing a sigh of relief that I do in fact have a shooter that I can and should enjoy! After reading that article and a few others and having my gun looked over by a local gunsmith I'm certain that the cases are fine and while my rifle is undoubtedly a bit "roomy" there certainly isn't anything unsafe going on.

Thanks so much fellas, I really appreciate the forum and all your time and efforts to post here.
