    Canadian collectors or target shooters

Does anyone know a forum or website dedicated to the sale of firearms in Canadaicon? I have a very nice correct Inland M1icon Carbine I would like to sell and this area is a bit sparse of interested parties. There is a US market for them but apparently they cannot be legally imported into the US at present.

    Some info:

    - US Carbine Cal. 30 Inland Div serial number 488xxx
    - original finish stock with no damage, marked with arsenal cartouche on
the right side and a circled P (sans serif) on the bottom of the grip portion,
stock and the handguard are marked with matching "I0" inside
    - Barrel is marked on top just back of the front sight: Inland MFG Div.,
General Motors, 6-43. About halfway between that and the forestock is a P.
It does not have the bayonet mount.
The F in MFG seems to be missing the small bar in the letter (or my eyesight
    is going)
    - bolt is flat topped, rear site is original flip, safety is push-button, fore-top
    handgrip is two rivet
    - 3 magazines that need modification to be legal for use in Canada being as
they're 15 round. Marked AI, KI and UW.

Stock looks shiny in photos but is actually a sanded matt finish.

Did you check your spam or trash folder for the confirmation email? It can often end up in there.

You can also list it in the Milsurps.com Quartermaster Stores section. Milsurps is a Canadianicon based site, also.

Yup, spam filters checked - no sign of it. I've had that happen occasionally with other forums as well. Not often just once in a while.

Thanks for the suggestion on milsurps. To be honest I've been so busy reading the forum part I hadn't reached the classifieds

Just an added FYI - the three magazines referenced above are no longer 15 round but are now in compliance with the Firearms Act.

    Recycled M1 Carbine

Sorry if this has been posted before but I just ran across an interesting site with a nice idea for recycling an M1icon carbine in less than great condition - and making it unrestricted for those of us in the Great White North as well. Of course a purist can argue it's no longer a true M1 Carbine but it's better than junking/parting it out (as the starting unit had a bulged barrel).
