    pics of refinished Jungle Carbine

    Bought this rifle last year for a steal. Both the wood and metal were in really bad shape. As you can see by the screws on left side of receiver, someone had obviously mounted a scope thereby destroying any collector appeal. Having refinished the stock awhile back, I decided this weekend that I would refinish the metal.

    This was my first attempt at parkerizing and I am pretty pleased with the results. Was a much easier process for an amateur than any type of bluing I have ever tried. The only place that did not park evenly is the flash supressor/front sight.

    It looks much better now and I look forward to shooting it.
