    US Property M75 Winchesters

Scarce as they are, there seems to be many variations of this rifle floating around. This is a US M75 with the AAR cartouche and "P" on the pistol grip. The scope is a genuine 8X made expressly for the early M75 target rifle, but really has no place on this particular rifle. The correct sights are the Lyman 57E rear and Winchester M93-B front. Although it has "rework?" cartouches, it is still blue, and the bolt is numbered to the gun. Big Larry

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. there's a spread sheet floating around with (IIRC) a couple of dozen or more models on it, and some particulars about each gun, I have one on the list,
I think reddogge was the guy's handle that he posted under, he was out of MD,

not sure if he made the transition to this new site,, but I may still have the spreadsheet on a thumbdrive if you are interested,

    WWII 75 target

Hey reddoggy,I have annother one for your data base.#10653,the rifle has been parked but it does seem to be correct, not the parked part. The stock markings are the best part. From my MI days I notice an earlyWB in a box with Ord. wheel,it's on the left side of the stock in front of the clip release.Next is AA-P in a box, behind the clip latch. There is a P on the front of the pistol grip, and an A stamped on the tip of the stock. The bolt is electro pencil marked with number 28406,mismatch I guess. It has a Lyman 57E rear sight and a Stevens 416 front sight.I hope this info helps,I also have an extra stock,Email me and I'll try to get some pictures for you.Lee W.
