M1 Carbine Parts Source

Found an online parts source for M1 Carbines, and want to make sure they are legit, before I order any parts from them. The company is Riverbank Armory, in Riverbank, California. Has anybody had any interaction with these folks, and are their parts legit?

Since I am a shooter, not collector, I will let more knowledgeable members respond. When dealing in carbine parts, in general now days, Caveat Emptor....

Riverbank is one of the biggest humpers out there today. He sells counterfeit parts such as flip sights, push safeties and barrel bands at authentic prices. He'll even describe these parts as being from specific manufacturers with "original" finish etc. but they are fake parts. He sells on gunbroker, ebay and his website. His parts are counterfeit pure and simple. There's another guy located in Modesto, California (right next to Riverbank....maybe they are one and the same) that sells fake parts on ebay also. Personally, I wouldn't buy anything carbine related from anyone in Modesto/Riverbank, CA. Have never heard anything good about any (and I think they are all the same) of those people.
There are many very good parts sources out there. You might start with Bill Ricca and go from there.

US Armory.com is a good source for general GI replacement parts, springs, extractors, and a limited number of coded parts. He even has new GI 30 round magazine springs!

Now you have. I've heard the horror stories about George and Riverbank (I go back to the Gun & Knife Forum days) and have seen some of the stuff attributed to him for sale on eBay. But frankly, I've bought from him a few times directly from his web page and it's all been just fine. Been collecting carbines for 25 years or so, so I'm not a newbie, and I do say you have to know what your buying, but I've not found George to be El Diablo.

I have seen Riverbank at some shows. Besides his newly marked items he has real stuff, and nice too. But he over charges for it. I will not buy from him even if I know it is real, just because he does hump parts. I surely wouldn't buy anything on line without a return option.

Nick Daley and Eddy Yuja are the guys to buy from. Both are good reliable sellers and are reasonably priced.
