    Personally, I wouldn't buy anything carbine related from anyone in Modesto/Riverbank, CA. Have never heard anything good about any (and I think they are all the same) of those people.
    There are many very good parts sources out there. You might start with Bill Ricca and go from there.

    Now you have. I've heard the horror stories about George and Riverbank (I go back to the Gun & Knife Forum days) and have seen some of the stuff attributed to him for sale on eBay. But frankly, I've bought from him a few times directly from his web page and it's all been just fine. Been collecting carbines for 25 years or so, so I'm not a newbie, and I do say you have to know what your buying, but I've not found George to be El Diablo.
