No.32 MkIII Scope and No.8 Mk1 Tin on Ebay

I have to say that the scope and tin look original to me. It's a shame that these clowns set about them with wire wool and brasso! I had one to rebuild a few months ago that was a brass polishers pride and joy! They'd spent hours over many years polishing the brass bits. That was until I set about it with the bead blaster and chucked it into the hot phosphating tank.............. The telescope I mean!

You can never tell unless you have looked inside it................. The saying '....how long is a piece of string......' originated in the optical instrument repair world. What I have said on a couple of occasions to those who insist on an unseen quote is this:
As it is, it's worth £10 as spare parts.
Rebuilt to Base Workshop FTR spec, it's worth £1000 and rising by the week ................
