Do we have any instructions on how to properly fit a replacement fore end to a no1 enfield? I have a 1907 no1 (not mk3) which has been restored from sporterized to military wood (a lovely repro from EFD in UK), and is destined for a future as a target rifle.
I could fit it according to common sense but I have a strong appreciation for Mr Laidler's common sense instead and if there's a right way to do it, thats what I'd like to do ...
I've searched our article indexes but haven't spotted anything close ...
Thanks for any tips ...
