The SAL self-loading rifle appears to have been set up for the No.6 Bayonet, not the No.5. The grips appear unique however, so maybe something else?

First, the worker firing the M1 Carbine is clearly wearing coveralls with the Inglis "Diamond" on them, so I doubt he is a Small Arms Limited employee.
Second, the EX1/EX2 look to be a cross between an SLEM-1 (Enfield developmental FN49) and an Tokarev SVT 38/40, 2 rifles which also show a design relationship.
Third, the "second trigger" is rather obviously the shadow of the single trigger from the flash photography.

The US "T65" was a "shortened 30-06" cartridge based on the .300 Savage case. I have sample cartridges in my collection dating as early as 1945.Quote:
