Was a commercial CAI receiver in the stock? I'd guess that CAI stamped some stocks that were used to assemble their rifles. BTW, it's a nice looking stock though.

I think someday someone will wish it was not so "well struck"
CAI stamped some of their rifles that way to give them the look of "real, original, rifles" rather than the "cast receiver, used parts, might even work rifles" that they are. I have no idea who GRP is or was or just random letters.
