    CAI stamped some of their rifles that way to give them the look of "real, original, rifles" rather than the "cast receiver, used parts, might even work rifles" that they are. I have no idea who GRP is or was or just random letters.

    GRP is sometimes used...

    ...as an abbreviation for "Group". I wonder if that's what they intended?
