New Inquisitive Owner of Arisaka Type 2 Takedown Rifle

I just inherited an Arisaka Type 2 'Takedown' Rifle and have conducted a lot of research on it. This is an incredible rifle with a lot history.

I cleaned, inspected and managed to find a lonely box of 7.7x58mm ammo in a town a half hour away which allowed me to test the cycling of the ammo. I fired it today and it was absolutely amazing to shoot.

Here I am tonight scouring the internet for any and all information regarding this beautiful rifle and stumbled upon it's serial number, which are plentiful. I started to look at my serial numbers and really think that I have a complete matching gun, but I am not completely sure.

I also noticed some symbols stamped on the front/rear sights as well as the bolt release. Can't really seam to find anything on these symbols. The symbol on the rear sight is in the middle of the anti-aircraft sight near the 13 marker.

I will try and attach a series of photos for anyone who might be able to shine some more light on this subject for me. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide. :)

Can't say much on the symbols. Congrats on the gun, nice that it is completely matching.

As for the small markings, I believe they are arsenal marks. Not the same as the big one by the serial number but still signifying where the part was made. They should all match. I can't be sure of this as they are not mentioned in my available book but it is something that was pointed out to me when I was seeking a dust cover. It is possible to match the three digit serial number every 1000 but they also have these small marks which would also need to match.

I'll check into the additional arsenal markings. It seems as though they (for the most part??) match, aside from the bolt release having two additional markings than the sights.

I am missing the dust cover and bayonet, but really don't think I'll ever seek them out. I would like to use the cleaning rod, but will likely just use a bore cleaning snake. Seems as though a 30-06 size would do the job nicely.
