I just inherited an Arisakaicon Type 2 'Takedown' Rifle and have conducted a lot of research on it. This is an incredible rifle with a lot history.

I cleaned, inspected and managed to find a lonely box of 7.7x58mm ammo in a town a half hour away which allowed me to test the cycling of the ammo. I fired it today and it was absolutely amazing to shoot.

Here I am tonight scouring the internet for any and all information regarding this beautiful rifle and stumbled upon it's serial number, which are plentiful. I started to look at my serial numbers and really think that I have a complete matching gun, but I am not completely sure.

I also noticed some symbols stamped on the front/rear sights as well as the bolt release. Can't really seam to find anything on these symbols. The symbol on the rear sight is in the middle of the anti-aircraft sight near the 13 marker.

I will try and attach a series of photos for anyone who might be able to shine some more light on this subject for me. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.
