I posted some pics of one I used to own a while back. They can be quite unusual. The one I had was fitted with a MkI No32 scope. The action had been converted by the Indians to a No4 MkI/3. It was quite accurate. The scope bracket was quite unique as well. The cap screws were allen headed and the bracket looked like it was something they made up themselves.
All of the lenses in the scope were sharp and clear and the turrets were smooth as butter in their operation. The scope didn't come with covers but the rifle did come with the proper sling. The pics may still be available on this site.
They also used very coarse sand paper on the stock so that it didn't produce glare. The metal was covered in a flakey black paint, which may have been a preservative. It also had the Ishy screw in the fore end.
I would like to see some pics so that I can compare the rifles to one another. I especially would like to see the scope bracket from different angles. Looking forward to the pics as I'm sure the fellow I sold it to is as well. :)

THe latter is well made but the leather wil stretch quite markedly if you're planning on using the rifle a lot. The top one is a superb quality reproduction but will cost you almost double - you pays your money and takes your choice :)

I tryed both links but ebay blocks this items for Austria. I will get a cover for the No 52 scope by next week and give a report when it has arrived.
My scope is still in the optical workshop getting the graticul fixed. It will be back end next week or so, as the armourer said.

I didn't realise you suffered the same restrictions that we do - if you try logging onto ebay.co.uk and ignore their advice to go to your own countries ebay you might see them :)

I've also had the problem with the 'invalid item' on EBay, but after some research I found out how the 'protection' from EBay works.
Since we're Austrian and we can talk German (and as our native English speaking friends here are not in need for this solution), may I post something in wunderschönem Deutsch:

Nachdem aber viele Artikel davon (vor allem Sammlergegenstände wie Münzen, Militaria etc.) nicht verboten sind, aber Ebay sie präventiv sperrt, habe ich nach einer Lösung gesucht um dennoch darauf zugreifen zu können.
Im Netz findet man leider nicht wirklich eine Anleitung um diese Sperre zu knacken bzw. zu umgehen, jedoch habe ich es nach diversen Versuchen und Überlegungen geschafft ->
Lösung 1:
Die einfachste Lösung - man kann via Web Proxy alles ansehen. Nur einloggen und bieten über Web Proxy ist eine etwas unsichere Angelegenheit. Deshalb empfehle ich ausdrücklich Lösung 2 und Lösung 3.
Lösung 2 - für Microsoft Internet Explorer:
Über das Menü 'Extras' in die 'Internetoptionen' einsteigen.
In der Registerkarte 'Allgemein' auf den Button 'Sprachen' klicken.
Dort die Sprache 'Englisch (USA) [en-US]' hinzufügen und alle anderen eventuell eingestellten Sprachen entfernen.
Nach einem Strg+R (bzw. 'Aktualisieren') laden nun alle ebay.com-Items.
Lösung 3 - für Mozilla Firefox:
In die Adresszeile 'about:config' eingeben.
Im Feld 'Filter' nach 'language' suchen.
Den Einstellungsnamen 'intl.accept_languages' im Feld 'Wert' doppelklicken, und den Wert auf 'en-us' abändern.
Mit 'OK' bestätigen, und das 'about:config'-Fenster einfach schließen, die Einstellung wurde bereits mit der Änderung gespeichert.
Nach einem Strg+R (bzw. 'Aktualisieren') laden nun alle ebay.com-Items.

Zur Erklärung:
Der Schutz von Ebay funktioniert rein auf der Basis von Spracheinstellungen vom Browser.
Dadurch dass man die Sprache auf en-us ändert, wird an der Software selbst nichts geändert. Wenn aber eine Website via Abruf die Sprache des Browsers aufruft, so wird die Information gegeben dass "die Muttersprache" amerikanisches Englisch ist.
Hinweis:
Die Umgehung auf diese Art und Weise ist in keinerlei Hinsicht illegal, da ohnehin der Käufer dafür Sorge trägt dass der Artikel in seinem Heimatland legal ist. Es wird hier lediglich der 'Schutz für den Käufer vor dem Käufer' ausgeschaltet.
Das Wichtigste ist ohnehin jeden Verkäufer zuvor zu kontaktieren ob er/sie auch nach Europa versendet (und zu welchen Konditionen).
Achtung, manche Webprogramme (Foren, Webshops) lesen die Sprache auch aus und stellen fortan Englisch als Default-Sprache ein. Muss man dann eben manuell wieder umstellen.
