I am in need of a leather scope cover for a No32 MKII scope as fitted to the Enfield T sniper rifle.

JMoore where are you located ?I am in Detroit. The price of the cover, please. The repro covers I bought on Ebay out of Englandicon about 7 years are one piece and stamped 1944 Broad Arrow. The original ones I have seen in Board photos are two-piece. I have assumed, therefore, that my one piece repros are not quite correct. Thank you.

    Please advise. Otto

They must have made both versions, the two piece and the one piece, as I have one of each and they appear original, Ray

There were 3 versions of the No.32 scope cap

1st Pattern: plain leather, with a plain connecting strap

2nd Pattern: same as above except they also have a loop added near the objective end of the scope. That way the caps can hang off the scope in use & are in theory more difficult to lose

3rd Pattern: MUST have been the result of several committee meetings & the passing around of each members version of home-made parsnip & cat pee wine!! As nobody in their right mind would design such a thing otherwise. Made with a 4 part connecting strap, which is a nightmare to sew!

    Pics of each:
