Shoot me down someone but I think the muzzle brake on the SA 7.62 Bren was to take the same sort of rifle grenade as their FAL took.

Gas is directed forward as opposed to backwards as on the Colt muzzle brake/flash hider.

That looks like the one from the metric rifle...so you could fix bayonets...like the Japanese...
I've got 2 types of forsights on my SA 7.62 guns, 2 have the normal Mk2 sight blade and 3 have the rotating pointer or what ever it may be called.Quote:
