No troop tag unfortunately.... :( I was pretty bummed about that, but hey, its still an awesome rifle! 1944 is a cool year!

Here’s my tag.
I have been looking for a K31 for some time and, in the end, I chose a well used one. I just felt attracted by this particular one. Blueing well worn, some banging on the woods, but good barrel and a great trigger.
I’ll post some pictures as soon as I’ll take’em.
Wilco soon enough.
Good night!
Really in great shape!
Worst part is the buttplate rust, but thats expected by me on all milsurps. It's only on the inside. I took some 000 steel wool/ballistol to it and coated it good. So it should be good to go. The tiger stripe part of the stock looks actually like a repair. The wood grain is SO well blended thats its nearly impossible to tell from a distance, but the grains are different. That is the only spot on the stock that is spliced. I've seen them look like pool cues before. Maybe a refurb repair? Regardless, I love the way it looks. Definitely unique.
Here it is, my K31. Year 1941.
The sling is marked 1940.
Bayo not matching, but in gorgeous conditions.
I apologise for the poor quality of the pictures, but I took them in my “cave” this evening.
Bad light... I’ll make better ones when I come back from Germany next week.
I also took a picture of the front sight adjustment tool I made.
Found the idea on the web. Easy to make.
Take a 30 mm pipe block and a longer M8 screw, and there it is.
A fast filing of the screw is enough.
I forgot the troop tag...
