The Enfield trials bayonet is quite rare. You need to see the stamping X2E1. They are very similar to the FN bayonet of the period both have prongs which form a flash hider. They tend not to be in very good condition. The FN trials were conducted in Malaya. The jungle is not very kind to kit! Only ever seen two on sale, one of which I own! The last one I saw on sale in poor condition, the dealer wanted £185.00. So if you have one of the trails bayonets put away for the future,please put some oil on it.
