G'day Muffer, BAR and Gil. I always have you senior NCO's in the back of my mind when I put these anecdotes up. Hassled range staff being run ragged who in turn run the crunchies ragged too. Great times when you look back on them. Just so long as the day ends well with no injuries (beyond the usual cuts and bruises of course) or come-backs.

The most important part. There were more than a few times I had to corner the Range Offr and remind him our unload drills were designed to put any unfired ammo downrange safely and weren't charge worthy if that's what happened. An ND would be more like something off the firing point...or out of time and space there.Quote:

My list of personally witnessed incidents in various circumstances is long and frightening, and illustrates the limitless ability of people to do stupid things while their brain is out of gear. Luckily none of those incidents were fatal, but only by millimetres and the grace of God!
