I finally got the link to work for me (I Hate Windows 8). You are right it looks very close to the one that George is calling a post-war replacement.

I looked up a picture of the HOWA buttplates on Jim Mock's website and they are also a close match - maybe more like Charlie's picture than Bob K's. - Bob
