Noticed a couple odd things about an M1A1 for sale online.

Leather is uncut? The aftermarket ones I've seen have relief cuts in the corners.

Not in the corners but in the lower stock radius .

Those cuts that you mention are there to make it easier to put the leather on. You don't need to take the time to mold the leather if you make those cuts. The cheap repros all have them.
