Unusual leather scope case I am trying to identify
I have attached a picture of on unusual leather case that I think might be for some kind of scope, but could be wrong. There are no markings of any kind on it. This case is very similar in appearence and size to the ones used for the no 32 scope only it's oval in shape. Can anyone out there in forumland identify this item for me?? thanks for looking.

photos of oval end of mystery scope case
I had a another good look at my case and yeah, it sure looks like some kind of a scout regiment case all right. Is it a repro?? could be and there and there is def. no markings of any kind stamped onto it. Also it is def. not a case that has been "flattened" over time. This case is like brand new and the two end pieces are cut Oval, not round and the oval is cut at 2 3/8 inches by 3 and 1/4 inches. Again, it's 13 inches long.
If this case in a repro someone went to a lot of time to make it, the quality of it is top notch and am amazed by the intricate stitching on the two buckles. Anyone have any ides of it's value, even though we are not sure what it is yet?
