    japanese explorer wilderness survival kife

    anyone familiar , good bad , junk , rare , collectable? is it a gimmick knife like the rambos?

    Is it this type? Personally I wouldn't go near them. But then...I have a Randall 14 so I don't need one of these...

    wasnt interested in it as a practical knife ,more so as if it were collectable ,i had never seen one , im more into the oddball stuff you do not see all the time , i am probably too long in the tooth to be thinking that far down the road , but one thing i learned in collecting is todays trash is tomorrows treasure

    in the 90s i bought a few of them.

    they are cheaply made, but they came with a razor sharp edge, and havent rusted.

    they even have a compass and fishing hook and string in the handle.

    it would make a good starter knife for a young out doorsman.

    i may have to dig one out , its to remember what ammo can they living in.
